Review Summary: A Dirty Raw... and Generic Grunge Album
Stone Temple Pilots in 1992 debuts their first album
Needless to say, they received a lot of criticism for borrowing Sound from Seattle bands
The Riffs of this album are not outstanding and have few solos, don't expect Melody in this Sound, it's Crude Grunge
Opens with "Dead & Bloated" which is already a Good Track, Heavy "Sex Type Thing", "Wicked Garden" a great track
"No Memory" is a short instrumental, I don't even know why they did it...but oh well
"Wet My Bed" is weird and it's just spoken lines, nothing interesting.
"Sin" "Naked Sunday" "Piece of Pie" are not Memorable Tracks and Easily Fell Bygone.
"Creep" is definitely the best, this one For me was The Ballad of 1992, this year there was no better
"Plush" is the Goodvibes from the Album, "Crackerman" is a Fast and Upbeat Track
"Where The River Goes" is 8 Minutes long, but there's nothing Outstanding here either...
hmm there's nothing wrong with STP, but they've improved a lot with Tempo... and Core is not your Best
Anyway, Half the Album is Good, the Rest is Just the Rest.
