Review Summary: Some nasty and groovy evil sh** to mess the christmas morning up.

So I was on my way to family lunch while listening to the opening song Sick Seed Eradication. Image that came to mind was the tentacle monster from Stranger Things making love to an unwilling archdemoness. Since the seed took hold, she got pregnant and decided to terminate the pregnancy thus….eradicating the sick seed. Since the resilient sprawling survived the procedure she decided to make a sacrifice thrusting it into the worst world of all worlds - our own, thus the second song - Total Sacrifice. Upon entering our world the horrendous abortling felt the pain of rejection and started devouring all organic matter - plants, animals and humans alike, enabling crazed worshipers trying to emotionally compartmentalize the apocalypse that was happening to the rest of the world since tactical nukes were not even denting the thing and making it even stronger and bigger - so the third song Terror Worship. Combined military arms of the civilized world were dwarfed by horror personified and governments tried to submit as slaves by deluding themselves they would be spared. They were not. Citizens proclaimed their elected officials collaborators and that’s why the fourth song - Traitor's Perdition. Remaining population decided to reject the new order under which flesh, nerves and human psyche were stripped and infused into the disgusting oozing mass of sores and puss of the abortling. It was so huge it resided in the better part of northern hemisphere covering continents. Parents tried to euthanize their children only to be stopped by psychotic warfare the abortling was waging all along. Forcing mothers and fathers into suicide so their children could feast on their corpses, thriving in sin until the Black Divinity could be invoked with the unholy power of their corrupted souls. That’s why the fifth song’s - Summoning of Black Divinity. Unable to perform the ritual correctly because of the damage done by nonbirth the abortling continued to consume everything living on Earth in a frenzy of - Morbid Lust, as the closing song suggests. Engulfing the world completely, the planet's crust collapsed onto itself causing the end of all things.
If you were wondering, mom made pork meat in mushroom gravy that turned out quite nice.

Your interpretation may vary, but the fact that something inspires a story, any story is a small marvel. The tools they use for storytelling put most war metal, bestial and blackened death to shame. This is Profane Order’s first EP after their debut LP and they improved the their sound in every way since it’s leagues ahead in every aspect, like a progression from demo to LP. Instrument separation is superb for such intensity and relentless speed, guitar tone is thick, sharp and even chuggy, I can even hear string sliding. Vocal layering is a bit like Pissgrave but with spot on reverb that makes the whole soundstage gargantuan. This is what abominations would sound like. Rhythm changes from high to medium tempo are often enough to encourage active listening and captivate attention. Solos are not there for lets-do-a-solo-cause-its-m/etal but add to overall flow and as a fine bridge to tempo change. Crushing, extreme on all fronts, yet headbangingly worthy. Even catchy if you will.
If you need same evil sh** to mess the christmas morning up, look no further than this.
