Review Summary: Beauty, Nature, Passion, and Hope.
Imagine if you will that you are standing in a forest, lost and confused. You know not how you got here and you start to feel worried and panic. Then a breeze rolls in and it carries with it a beautiful sound. This sound is the sound of a thousand voices crying and gasping in unison over a lush soundscape sent down from the heavens.
As you are entranced by this sound you stumble to a nearby creek. You bend down to drink from this creek and realize the sound has grown nearer. You look up to see a naked man across the creek, strumming an acoustic guitar and singing. The man has soft tender eyes and a flowing beard. Could this beautiful sound be coming from this beautiful man?
You wade across the creek to embrace this mysterious figure, but as you emerge from the water you realize that he has disappeared, and the beautiful sound (of music?) has retreated further into the distance. You stagger to your feet. The sun is quickly setting and you are going to need shelter to survive the night. As you are frantically scurrying to find some broken branches to build a fire you slip on a wet rock and hit your head. The light of day slides away and you drift into unconsciousness.
Your eyes begin to open… how long were you out? Where are you now? As your eyes open further you see the eyes of the beautiful stranger you encountered earlier gazing into your soul. The beautiful sound of music now returns and your suspicions are confirmed that it is indeed coming from this mysterious man. You lean up to kiss him, your eyes closed, your lips quivering as you wait for him to lean in. You wait, but still no kiss. You open your eyes and see the man is gone, enter the world my friends, the world of Bon Iver.
