This album has short duration, only 23 minutes of music. Perhaps, we should consider it as mini album. Opened by an intro, soon we hear the kind of atmospheric prelude with darkly spoken words as the background. I think the intro is quite okay. Short in duration, but song title is long as hardcore porn star's dick. Angelos-Elucidate Destruction Of Existence, oh ghost, what an extravagant song title! Then track Xenophobic, I say this is surely good work.

When I heard their brutal growl first, it reminds me to Jasad vocals. I don't know why because Revenge and Jasad did not have any significant similarity in growling way. However, with solid growl incorporate with indistinct furious scream, Rifki brings us the real harsh of voices. I love it! They know what real brutal and know how to blend it with technical death taste. It is straight attacked, you know. Yeah, Xenophobic is massively energetic. And I, really enjoy their spinning guitar riff, sometimes it's rigorous and fast slamming, although sometimes we have to admit that Revenge did not bring anything new yet, anything special in riffing, yeah I mean the thing that will become their own 'trademark'. Above all, Prelude to Omega is real valuable awesome step of their young musicality journey. Two albums within two years, debut Global.Suffering.Disease in 2010, then Prelude to Omega in 2011, I know, it is not easy job if you're indie or non-mainstream artist in Indonesia. Lyrical themes, anyway, I don't pay much attention to their devilish and anti-religion lyrics. Who cares? The Antipope and Massacred in The Name of God are my favorite beside Xenophobic. Those two songs, according to my opinion, are typically top weapon! Both tracks are great and intense in song composition. Then tracks like The Antipope and Massacred in The Name of God are also fine example which show Revenge’s capability in technical touch without trapping themselves in an 'overdose' progressive way, and also they deliver a lot of brutal sound without leaving some groovy and little bit melodic riffing part. Revenge knows what balance means. Another three song, Servants Of The Myth, Procreation The Illumination Of Deviance, and Heaven's On Fire, follow similar formula of i]Xenophobic[/i]. Those three songs are surely different to each other. However, Xenophobic is a good example to be the first step in describing this album sounds like in general of a view.

Conclusion, Revenge has nothing new to offer in the sea of technical death metal. However, if you're death metal fans, you probably will consider Revenge in your new list. Furthermore, their musicianship surely complied to deal with brutality. Great release!

It seems like you're doing your absolute best to describe something way more than it needs to be, in an attempt to make yourself seem smarter than you probably are...

No dude, I didn't mean to be kind like that! By the way, thanks for your opinion on this review. I always welcome all constructive criticism...
