This rare German EP has been seen around onlne shops selling for £50 or $85.50 ! It contains some excellent songs like Creeping Death which is Metallica at their heaviest, and many others. Lets get going.

1. Creeping Death

What can I say? An excellent song which is one of their first songs by the sounds of James. Its a very fast, heavy song which is Metallica at their best. It also has Kirk playing a great solo witha superb riff being played by Hetfield. After the solo it goes heavy for a while until the next verse with strange echoing noises that really creates effect. Hetfield sounds like he does on all of the early albums like Kill 'em All, The ending is the traditional Metallica nding, really heavy with a bizzare riff to finish it.
4.5/5

2. Am I Evil?

Starts off quite slow and Lars seems to be playing marching style and that is played over and over for over a minute and then finally gets into it with a strange riff from Kirk and then its into the song. It still remains slow until about halfway through the verse the tempo increases steadily and then drops to then end of th vrse and thn goes back up for the chorus. The second verse does the same as the first tempo wise, the chorus is very good, lyically anyway in my opinion. Just after ha;fway theres a fast and heavy interlude which is classic 'tallica unfortunately, unlike the rest of the song at some parts, not all. The guitar solo is amazing and fits into the songs style and it includes a part from the beggining bridge, and then goes into another verse. Overall a very good song apart from the change of style in some parts. The enind is good in a way you think its gonna end but then the drums come back in.
4.5/5

3. Blitzkreig

Starts off with a guitar riff that is played by Kirk and then joined by James and then the drums come in. As soon as it begins you can tell its a typical Metallica song. The verses are very good in every way as is the chorus, it just sounds brilliant. The guitar solo is also great and as you'll know form Kirk there never slow or boring, this follows thew trend of crazy and fast tempo-d. Quite a short song being only 03:36 which is bad because it is great.
5/5

4. Jump In The Fire

A bit different from the usual Metallica type which is kind of good especially the guitars its like I say different but still remains good and a change from their other songs. Great guitar solo halfway through, typical Kirk style. The nstrument parts all the way through the song are very good and matches the lyrics very well to create a decent song which is another highlight of this album. There is another great guitar solo, which suits me because I cant get enough of insane solos lol and this song doesn't dissapoint in that respect.
4/5

5. Seek And Destroy (LIVE)

Probably the most famous song on the EP and also quite dissapointing. I didnt actually like the studio version of S'N'D I preferred it live on Live *** : Binge and Purge, however this nearly as good but Hetfield doesn't sound as enthusiastc as other live versions of S'N'D but it is still pretty decent but not great at all. As it is a very long song it gets a bit boring after a while and there s no interactions with the crowd but it has a good guitar solo but what do you expect from Kirk?
In my opinion its the biggest letdown on the EP I know many people would and will disagree wtih me.
3/5

6. Phantom Lord (LIVE)

It starts off pretty slow but not for long as the tempo soon kicks in to bring it to traditional Metallica speed metal at it's best. The instrument parts are brilliant and very fast paced but unfortunately you cant har Hetfield much in the chorus but that could be good or bad. The guitar solo is as amazing as always but afer the solo its goes slower and saddish but not for long, no, the guitar comes in heavier than before and the continous whacks of the crash from Lars greet Kirks second superb solo with open arms and then it goes back to a verse. A great song which is another highlight of the album.

I'm not into metallica that much, I have just bought their five first albums because I think that those albums are Metallica's best material.

After ¨The Black Album¨ Metallica became so lame in their music then. They sound boring, and Kirk's solos never has a unique style if I say so. But that's my opinion.

I got this one on cassette.

Are you sure this isn't bootleg? I haven't seen this as an official release, Europe or not.
