Review Summary: And the wolf opened his mouth, and I saw blood.

Wolves were born to thrash. When I look at a wolf there is only one thing I think of: thrashing Slayer riffs. Destroyer 666 is a blackened thrashing wolf murderer. They are one of the few warriors of thrash left bringing truth the those who are sane. Yes, they are blackened. Blackening your music allows you to add the evil side of black metal and not have to worry about adding the pussy side. This is blackened thrash. A man's journey to Satan can only be made to the sound of shredding sweeps and open E-string violence. 666. Hail Satan forever.

Destroyer 666 is from the barren wastelands of Australia, a country who is not metal at all. Destroyer 666 realized this and abruptly moved to the Netherlands before the taint of non-metal could touch their blackened skin (they are caucasian). K.K. Warslut has stated in interviews that recruiting thrash warriors for his thrashened black metal army has never been easier. Thrash warriors fill the streets of Europe he says. K.K. Warslut, a man raised by the wolves of the frigid and grim Outback, is not the kind of guy you want to play pranks on. As a youngster, he was minding his own business one day and was viciously attacked by a rabid crocodile while drinking from the waters of Lake Amadeus. Using his thrashened wolf instincts, he buried his maw into the breast plate of the ferocious crocodile and ripped out it's cold-blooded heart. He wore the skin of the crocodile as a warning.

Destroyer 666 is a four man assault on the senses. Aside from K.K. Warslut, the band consists of Shrapnel on guitar, Mersus on drums and... Matt. Matt plays bass. Matt was not always on bass. He replaced the infamous Berserker, the man you hear on Cold Steel... .

Cold Steel... is the album of D-666 at their peak. The tremolo-picked madness is all around you when you listen to this, like a pack of bloodthirsty winter wolves growling at you in anger. The drums thunder into your ear canal like an overwhelming swarm of peregrine hawks at 200 MPH. There is so much evil found in this album I have trouble describing it to you. The vocals shred through your skin like a chakram thrown by Conan himself. When songs like "Raped" and "Clenched Fist" come on, you can't help but feel hatred for all that is in this world.

D-666 has done an excellent job of making modern society look like a bunch of nancies. The wolves of the Outback would be proud of what K.K. Warslut has become. D-666 is the premier band heading the blackened thrash movement of today. An album such as this exemplifies the traits of a thrash band born to make thrash music and never look back. With so much insanity in humans, it is the bloodthirsty beast who will survive. Join the D-666 army today.

Poor choice on your part. People who aren't even big fans of thrash still fap to this band.
