Thrash elitist bitches like to give Anthrax *** for jamming too hard and thrashing like mad, but in the end, it's those elitist sluts' loss. Anthrax in the 80's (and now, since Belladonna is baaaack) was some of the best metal ever made, and anyone who disagrees is wrong.

Their undisputed masterpiece, Among The Living, is nye on fifty minutes of pure thrash. Riffs-a-plenty, wailing vocals; this bitch has it all. Joey Belladonna solidifies his place as most technically skilled thrash vocalist, Dan Spitz and Scott Ian are a duo to be reckoned with and rival all other twin-guitar attacks in thrash, and Frank Bello plays bass like no other (you can actually hear this bitch). And let us not forget Charlie Benante, whose pounding drums have more skill and technique than most other drummers, not just in thrash, but in metal period. Just listen to tracks like "Indians" and "Caught in a Mosh".

This album is pure energy and hard thrashing, and it displays a lighter (yet undeniably heavy as ***) side to thrash metal that many thrash sluts cannot appreciate. Thankfully for me, I can appreciate this awesome ***.

I never find myself listening to those three though Hans, with the exception of Antisocial and Only
