Well, I'm working on reviewing albums better. So here it goes.

This album is farely hard to get, you will have to get it off the internet if you plan on getting it. It's a little over priced for a 6 track EP, but I guess that's just because it's rare.
It's mostly acoustic, with an unreleased track and two live tracks thrown in the mix.

Track by Track

Pardon Me(acoustic) - The electric version was the second Incubus song I heard (with, of course, drive being the first). It's kind of old to me now, but the acoustic version is really nice. You can really see how much effort was put into writing the guitar in this. WONDERFUL chord work by Mikey, it took me a while to learn. Overall, a great track. 5/5

Stellar(acoustic) As a matter of fact, I'm listening to this right now. It isn't much different from the original, except acoustic. I like the sound of the acoustic a lot, and that's probably why I like this version better than the original. I'd have to give it a 4.5/5

Make Yourself (acoustic) - My favorite track on the album. The vocal harmonies are wonderful. I don't like how he sings the first little yelling chorus, but the next chorus really makes up for it. I love how he changes octaves on the second line. Overall, great track, shows a lot of talent. 5/5

Crowded Elevator - I think the only other place to find this is the Scream soundtrack (correct me if I'm wrong). This song is okay, but most people like it more than I do. I do like the opening guitar riff, and the guitar effects in the verse are nice. Singing is great, as well.
4/5

Favorite Things(live) - My second favorite song on the CD. It starts off with Brandon talking to the crowd, and then a little violin intro(done on the turntables), and then Pasillas counts it off on the hi-hats. Lots of energy, and added effects. I really like the high pitch guitar that is added in. The varied singing noises are nice, also. 5/5

Pardon Me (Live) - This one is an average track. It's really nothing special, just like the original, but live. It does have a lot of energy, I must say. If you like the electric studio version, you will like this. If you don't, than you won't like this. 3.5/5
Hidden track - Smokin' the herb again - In my opinion, this is just something to take up space on the CD, and maybe get some laughs. Some say that this is Pasillas and Kilmore singing, but I've never heard them sing, so I have no idea. It's about being addicted to drugs, and it's just rapping. 3/5

Overall, a great album. I recommend you to try and get it, but good like finding it in stores. It really shows Mike and Brandon's talent, and shows they don't need studio effects to sound good.

4/5

The Band -
Brandon Boyd - Vocals
Jose Pasillas - Drums
Mike Einziger - Guitar
Dirk Lance(at the time) - Bass
Chris Kilmore - Turntables

you still failed to put a release date, album image, and track listing. Try adding an introduction, what the band sounds like, and what are the pros and cons. Read some of the other reviews on this site.

Sorry, I had to use IE when I reviewed it, and it skipped one of the pages(the one with the album page, tracklist, and such.) I had the image saved to my computer, I was ready to type out a tracklist. If you can tell me how to edit posts, I'll try and add them.

Yeah, the rule only got changed a few weeks ago and I'd rather not go back and edit every review on the site again, so I'm only doing the new ones as the rule is only in place to make the front page look nice. So not a problem or anything. I haven't heard this Incubus album, but it sounds like something I'd look into if it was easier to find. :-

I hate when that happens^ where you post something and it gets said by someone else when you're writing it.

This is a good EP. I always like checking out acoustic versions of songs and the live tracks on here are pretty cool too. Luckily one of my friends gave it to me a few summers ago because he's not a big Incubus fan, I haven't really seen it in stores around here.

The music is really good, I just don't see the point of releasing it as an independant EP and then charging loads fer it.

Good but would've been cooler if it was maybe thrown onto the 'When Incubus Attacks' DVD instead
