Chevelle-Vena Sera
1. Antisaint
You know how bands like Evans Blue are always compared to bands like Chevelle? Well, this song sounds like Pete trying to imitate Kevin Matisyn's voice, while still trying to retain some of his actual voice during the chorus. Apart from that, this is one of the best tracks on the entire album, with a nice chorus, buildup, and opening guitar riffs.
3.5/5
2. Brainiac
Argubably another of the better tracks on the album. Though highly energetic, it lasts some melody, but an enjoyable listen. The vocals are nice, but the guitar gets boring easily, due to the fact that its energy is around the same throughout the entire song.
3.5/5
3. Saferwaters
It's one of my personal favorites. Saferwaters is softer, but starts out just as heavy as the rest of the songs. It's chorus is possibly the cathiest chorus I've heard from the entire album. Classic Chevelle.
4/5
4. Well Enough Alone
Starts out with a nice shriek, before settling into softer vocals. The buildup into the chorus is great, but however, due to the great buildup, the intensity of the chorus is somewhat disappointing.

5. Straight Jacket Fashion
Really, what's special about this song? The drumming is pretty good, but that's as far as I'll compliment it. It contains a melody which will manifest itself over and over throughout the rest of the album.
2.5/5
6. The Fad
Ahhh, an angry, aggressive song. Sounds like the type of hard rock radio stations would play. The chorus perfectly describes a fad, "it's hip to care, hip to hate it". However, though at first, I loved the song, I really got bored of it. The song bores you out quickly, and the melody of the chorus is the same as the melody of the rest of the song. Sounds like a perfect ripoff of This Type of Thinking's "Another Know It All"
3/5
7. Humanoid
Hey, everyone knows the song, Vitamin R, right? Well, imagine a song that starts out with crunchy riffs, shockingly similar to the ones found in Wonder What's Next (the song, not the album), before bursting into vocals that imitate the melody found in Vitamin R first verse, before finally arriving to its chorus, which is actually original. It sounds like a recycled mix of older Chevelle.
2/5
8. Paint the Seconds
Once again, nothing special. It's softer than the rest of the album, but apart from that, it's still a decent song overall. The chorus is surprisingly catchy and melodic, similar to the one found in Saferwaters.
3/5
9. Midnight to Midnight
Remember what I said earlier about the melody of Straight Jacket Fashion repeating and manifesting itself? Well, Midnight to Midnight contains elements of that song. It sounds like Chevelle's actually giving melody and break, and trying to focus on heaviness for once.
2.5/5
10. I Get It
Wow, I mean, WOW. After some really bad songs, finally, a good song appears. I Get It is probably the best song on the entire album, with a really catchy buildup after the chorus. From what I heard, it sounds like it's about trying to tell an arrogant person that you were wrong, and they were right again, and after all, they're SO perfect. This song is different from the other songs also because of the fact that this song took 2 guitars to record, not just one. The chorus is very powerful, and I MEAN POWERFUL, POWERFUL. Definately a great song.
5/5
11. Saturdays
Well, it's a filler for sure. It's to finish off Chevelle's habit of having 11 song albums. The chorus was a complete ripoff off of Midnight to Midnight. Other than that, it doesn't stick out at all.
