Some of the most enjoyable thrash metal from this millennium. The album is full of great riffs and interesting songs, showing also hints from death and, yes, heavy metal here and there. It's hard to come with a (mostly) thrash album that doesn't sound like countless bands from the 80's and early 90's. If you don't believe me, I challenge you to listen to this album, you won't regret it!

| ||Sargeist Disciple of the Heinous Path|
Sargeist may not reinvent the wheel with their second full-length Disciple of the Heinous Path, but it offers some very solid and varied black metal, with a good atmosphere. Six songs and no filler.

| ||Exumer Possessed by Fire|
Pure, punishing Teutonic thrash metal right here. A little-known gem from 1986.
| ||Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon||4.5|
| ||Summoning Minas Morgul|
Being my first experience about the band, this album really makes me want to hear more. A great example of how to do atmospheric/ambient black metal right. Indeed, calling this just black metal wouldn't do this album justice. If you like highly ambient music and aren't the most elite black metal purist, you should try this.
|BallsToTheWall There was a sick German bm band called Schwarze Sonne back in the day.|
|zakalwe Thanks for them recs on your metal list Thrash. Demolition Hammer is exactly what I was after. Listening to Tortured Existence and loving it.|

|Dethtrasher Many thanks bro. I think that Destruction's recent albums are the best ones. You need to get Antichrist and Inventor Of Evil first of all. Later you can move on to Metal Discharge and Thrash ANthems. Can't guide you through their oldest material. Release From Agony is pretty good but the vocals are really annoying. You should also check out a band called Guillotine and get their latest album called Blood Money. Sounds very similar to Destruction.|
|ThrashK Thanks! I've read many of your reviews, they are great. By the way, which Destruction album do you recommend to get first? I've been thinking about Release from Agony or Inventor of Evil.|
