 | Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon It's really weird, everytime I look at this album to listen to one track, I end up listening to the entire thing. As far as the music goes, it has had a surprisingly deep effect, it really eases the soul. | 5 05.03.12 | | Dimmu Borgir Stormblast Majestic at times, raw and brutal at others... A great album, with an amazing atmosphere. | 4.5 05.03.12 | | Gamma Ray Insanity and Genius Tribute to the Past, No Return, Last Before the Storm and Gamma Ray are all amazing tracks
and the likes of Your Torn is Over and The Cave Principle aren't too bad. As for the other
tracks, they're not that great. 18 Years and Heal Me are particularly boring as fuck, and
that's what plagues this album: boring tracks. | 2.5 05.02.12 | | Gamma Ray Land of the Free II An average album... It's disjointed by the likes of the awful chorus in To Mother Earth,
Leaving Hell, and Opportunity. As well, Kai's vocals are a bit off key, his falsetto,
especially. Into the Storm and Rain are pretty awesome, though. At least they didn't resort
to stagnation, like they did with their next release. | 2.5 04.28.12 | | Opeth Ghost Reveries

 | Venpts16 Somewhere Far Beyond is probably the best starting point. It has a much cleaner production while still being very fast-paced like the earlier albums, along with just about everything being classic. As for the first three, they are all very good Speed Metal albums with classic songs, though they have moments of inconsistency. Imaginations From the Other Side is my second favorite album from Blind Guardian, though it takes a while to really digest (the first two songs really hit hard though).

 | Venpts16 I love extremely long songs, to be honest. Though I don't listen them a lot, I love "Dante's Inferno," "And Then There Was Silence," "Visions (Southern Cross)," "The King for 1000 Years," "When the Wild Wind Blows," and others. All of these songs are my absolute favorites from those bands (or in my top 5 from them).

 | Venpts16 "Heading for Tomorrow" is an incredible song, but it is a little too long for me to consistently listen to. I love the halfway point of the song where the song title is repeated with the faster pace, as part that might be the highlight of the album for me. I'll say that it is easily one of the best songs on the album, along with "The Silence," "Lust For Life," and "Heaven Can Wait."

 | TheNotrap I'm glad. That album is an absolute masterpiece. If you wish try also some other gems like Wish You Were Here or Marillion's Misplaced Childhood - the best prog rock of the 80's in my humble opinion.
