 | Irving In other words: the trick is to get yourself noticed, and show Trey and the rest how much BETTER the site would be to have you on its Staff/Contribs board. The rest will then follow =) Also, the fact that I've started to notice your presence as of late is a good sign! There's also some improvement in your writing style as compared to one I remember from a few months ago so that's another pos! If ever you need a second eye over a review/constructive criticism just say the word, ok?

| Irving One thing I CAN say about your desire to be a Contributor is that you're just about doing it right. When I got promoted I had been on a mean reviewing streak, and took care to cover relatively high profile releases that a.) the Staffs were missing or b.) that I had a good counterpoint to. I'd also been submitting a lot of news pieces (most of them were troll pieces about Nickelback though so I guess that hardly counts?).

Thanks so much for stopping by to say hi and for your kind words - it's always very nice when someone makes you feel good about what you do so big cheers to you mate =) Yeah work's been really busy as of late and I've barely enough time to sit down and contemplate an album (and my intermittent-at-best internet connection doesn't help) but hopefully I can start writing again soon!

| SowingSeason The thread isn't active until they reopen it for applications. I know last time they did surprise promotions and the thread wasn't even involved. Best bet is to try to get noticed on your own, then if the thread does appear, make sure you apply.
