 | AliW1993 Listened to, and thoroughly enjoyed that John K Samson record. Which Weakerthans album would you say is the best to start with?

 | WatchItExplode Thanks, think I'll just give him $5 though. I imagine the album will be consistenly good if not particularly memorable.

 | BrahTheSunGod Good call! That should make your life a lot easier to have that, honestly. And no reeeason in particular, other than that I'm an architecture student and to have any hope of being able to get a job, we need to be able to design a very convincing portfolio of work. So I've picked up a little graphic design theory along the way, haha.
|
 | BrahTheSunGod Not in particular! The articles are good, and the graphic design was pretty good as well. There were some little design inconsistencies (check your header height/beef up your margins slightly, having a consistent grid is really helpful, and spread out the content slightly as it feels a little cramped right now), but already a massive improvement from the first issue. What are you using for the layout? InDesign?

 | BrahTheSunGod Nice work on the ByVolume mag! May I highly recommend Issuu as a (free) way of publishing it online, though - much easier to read/more elegant than the PDF approach. Just a thought!
