	Slint Spiderland Slint without a doubt are pioneers and are important in their own right for helping spawn the genre that is post rock. However whilst i respect that, i do not get what is so special about this album. Whilst this album does share notable characteristics with modern post rock, whatever promising moments there are in this album are washed away by a sea of mediocrity, overdrawn and boring repetitiveness not to mention a horribly annoying voice. The fact that this helped spawn some of the best post rock bands around is the only reason why this album holds any resemblence in my opinion. A foothold in post rock this is, a great album this is not.	2.5 03.14.10

NeutralThunder12 Alcest? Hmm I have to check that out. From what I've heard so far, 2010 is pretty good, we got Dillinger, Frightened Rabbit, Fang Island and Sigh was very good, but everything else I heard was either solid or just plain old sucked. I still have to check out Kalmah, I'll check out Alcest, and a few more. Oh and Suis La Lune... it's a 5. I'm sorry but I feel like a follower, but you know what? **** it. The whole thing is gorgeous, though i really can't get into most screamo besides that.
