  • FearThyEvil Metalcore is one of my favorite genres so I jam a huge amount of it. Mostly older metalcore because most newer metalcore blows outside some exceptions here and there.

  • FearThyEvil I'm also huge on death metal too but still kind of a newbie in that as well as black metal. I like all types of metal as you know though and love to expand and find newer bands.

  • FearThyEvil I'd say there's a lot of older metalcore that I enjoy slightly more than ETID but not many metalcore/hardcore bands have been as consistent and put as many records though which puts them above. Like there's certain bands in the genre I'd say maybe did better albums but they don't have many others. I adore Botch for example but only really 3 albums by them to listen to which sucks because if they went on, oh man I can't imagine what their discography could have been.

  • FearThyEvil I would say it's not that rare to like metal around here but it's mostly the common s***. You never see people knowing older metalcore or really good death metal and black metal like us which really sucks. If we do meet someone like that they somehow ended up being obnoxious or dicks. It's really strange which is why I gravitated so hard to this site. I can say Dave and only a select few others around where I live dig all types of what I mentioned.
