 | Gorguts Obscura There's one word I can describe Obscura with: A journey. The album is a journey through your mind, well, the music is there too, and it's simply excellent. | 4.5 05.18.13 | | dISEMBOWELMENT Transcendence Into The Peripheral A truly brilliant album - dISEMBOWELMENT have created a genuinely dark and devastating meld of death, doom and grind on here - not to mention original. Essential to anyone searching for dark, ambient and heavy metal. Yes, this is really heavy as fuck. Atmosphere the album creates is beyond words, listen to it yourself.
I would go even that far and say that this is the best metal album of 1993. | 4.5 05.17.13 | | Winter Into Darkness
| 4.0 05.15.13 | | Carcass Necroticism: Descanting the Insalubrious 1991 was one sick year for death metal - Human, Mental Funeral, Effigy of the Forgotten, and many others. Necroticism: Descanting the Insalubrious is definitely right up there, being my favourite Carcass along with Symphonies of Sickness. | 4.5 05.14.13 | | Darkthrone Panzerfaust Too underrated, likely overshadowed by the phenomenal albums just before this. Panzerfaust is quite different with its more 'old school' approach, but that doesn't mean it's for bad. The album is full of great tunes and no fillers. Variation is the album's strongest point, aside of the material itself of course. 4.1/5 | 4.0 05.13.13 | | Exhumed Gore Metal Some truly sick stuff in the vein of old Carcass. Very chaotic but good. | 4.0 05.11.13 | | Overkill The Electric Age
| 3.5 05.03.13 |

 | Dethtrasher Many thanks bro. I think that Destruction's recent albums are the best ones. You need to get Antichrist and Inventor Of Evil first of all. Later you can move on to Metal Discharge and Thrash ANthems. Can't guide you through their oldest material. Release From Agony is pretty good but the vocals are really annoying. You should also check out a band called Guillotine and get their latest album called Blood Money. Sounds very similar to Destruction.

 | ThrashK Thanks! I've read many of your reviews, they are great. By the way, which Destruction album do you recommend to get first? I've been thinking about Release from Agony or Inventor of Evil.
