  • Frippertronics I've just been in the mood lately, and the selection is rather thin at the moment where I'm at. Though checking the local goodwill won't hurt to try

  • Frippertronics yeah, i've owned a copy on vinyl for a few years and finally got back to it and just decided to rate all the classical I have in my collection today

  • OmairSh Hey Snow, I also wanted to recommend Leprous' latest album. Quality modern prog metal that is much more mature than the imitators of the legends. This is the single https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G9Qd_84YZs

  • OmairSh After reading a few of Russell's comments a while back about the albums, he was basically saying he doesn't have control over what happens with it and he's just waiting to record his vocals. Didn't think Romeo would become such a control freak and dictator. Not good signs. I hope this doesn't frustrate band members and cause them to leave. Anyway we have had to wait another 4 years for a new album and I'm hoping it'll be good.

  • OmairSh Definitely agree on the fact that songwriting should be distributed like in the old days. I don't necessarily want them to have neoclassical elements again, but if Romeo wants to continue in the heavy direction then at least have some new ideas. Electronic elements, middle eastern flair, more mellow moods, etc. But for bands that have been around for this long it's normally difficult to bring fresh ideas, unless your band leader is Robert Fripp.
