not artistic criticism, just a power ranking of stuff I liked looking at. all artists who illustrated more than a couple of cards previous to MMQ considered (don't worry if this doesn't make sense to you, magic is a bad game.) evocative fantasy art in low res. albums are fundamental cimnelecore in no real order
oof what an impossible question to answer. So I never really played past Revised but the artwork from that era is so classic fantasy and just oozes nostalgia for me. not even sure I could give you a top 10 there are so many. What is yours?
this is fun cos everyone's named one of the original artists from the first set but I'm always more nostalgic for Ice Age and Mirage and all that. fave of all time card art might be Political Trickery
