02.17.15 | Decent list, everything seems to have been made within the last few years though. Start watching some of the old classics. |

02.17.15 | I just saw Birdman last night and it was exceptional. the camera work is incredible and the concepts are well executed |

02.17.15 | The thing I love about Birdman is it's ambiguity. In a day and age where audiences insist on wanting to
know and see everything, I thought it was refreshing to have so many questions in place and understand the
film differently.
Does Michael Keaton die in the theater? Is the final scene of him in the hospital his imagination of heaven
surrounded by family and being loved? Does he jump out the window to his death or is he floating off
somewhere? The film is hard to pin down and I like it that way. |

02.17.15 | @JWT155 - Something else that I loved about the film was Edward Norton's character/performance. When he first popped on the set, and was reading lines with Keaton's character, I loved how his character could already predict what his character's lines would be, as if he had some sort of superpower as well. Really fascinating movie. So happy that I got the chance to see it in theatres. I wasn't expecting it to be as intense as it was; while it was extremely funny more often than not, you really relate to the characters, which makes the whole "making of the play" process extremely stressful for not only Keaton's character, but for us as an audience as well (plus, the actual Birdman scene made me jump out of my seat once or twice due to the sheer loudness of it, easily the most intense scene in the film, definitely makes you think twice about today's current trend of overly bombastic superhero movies). |

02.17.15 | I have been avoiding Birdman for a bit because of all the horrid reviews, about how boring it is and that it
lacked a plot. Im guessing its probably too "artsy" for most.
Spoiler alert jeeeeez |
PunkMoon
02.17.15 | It has a 92% on RT. Doesn't sound like a "horrid" response to me. |

02.17.15 | Where are the horrid reviews for Birdman? I thought it was praised by pretty much all critics ever...
Surprised to see so many movies from the last two years on your list of all time, but they're great picks either way. Whiplash is incredible.
I could never ever make an all time movies list... waaay too fuckin hard. |

1, 2 and 3 are all solid but not that good (apart from maybe Donnie Darko). Requiem for a Dream is powerful stuff, and Enemy is pretty clever. |
