Deez 07.01.20	Havent listened the New Vile Creature OR new Paysage so....Also Hum is pretty huge but post hxc is not really something I go back to. Neither have I listened much electronic this year which Im not to happy about although I did catch an amazing Gaslamp Killer livestream dj set the other day and so Im gonna hunt that tracklist down. Haven't listened this much death metal since I was about 14.

Its definitely not for everyone byt I get the feeling its gonna become pretty well recieved over the next few months ( will be a splitter on Sput!) Deez 07.06.20	@spag That Ep is some of the best stuff theyve done as a band for me. Superb. @poll I feel Monarch are one of the most underrated doom bands around. I get not everyone likes that kind of drawn out almost drone,doom at times and preference is generally for stonery doom types but theyre so overlooked its crazy. That track might just be the best they have done and in some ways most 'accessible'. The Sangre side isnt really my thing but it might grow on me.

pollastrerostit 07.14.20	I just spinned the sangre/monarch split, monarch song is def super oppressing. The almost chanting vocals fit so well with the drony guitars. Very nicely done, need to check out more. Tbh the sangre side is kinda average, check out their first album of you feel like giving them another opportunity! But yeah it's something completely different, it's something nice in splits
Deez 07.14.20	For sure I like a split with massively different styles also. That side is pretty average though, yeah but Ill give their first album a shot man! I was actually listening to 'Sabbracadaver'( Terrible name) by Monarch again last night after speaking about it here. 'Oppressive' is a perfect word for them. I even find the long spacey,feedback sections pretty suffocating also. Gonna spin that split track again right now actually! :)
