solongatlast: graduating

Rolling Girl 04.29.19	I feel you. Didn't get into grad school this time around so I've been sending out job apps and thinking of ways to spend the year before I try again. Good news is a friend of mine needs a roommate while he finishes his last year so I can move in with him until then. Shits bittersweet tho. I wanna be done with this place but I don't want to leave all the friends I've made.
StrikeOfTheBeast 04.29.19	Honestly graduating college wasn't as rewarding as I expected it to be. I studied psychology which was cool, but the demand for it isn't as high for it as people would would think, at least around my area. Getting a decent job and starting up a band was far easier tbh
bloc 04.29.19	Regardless of what field you graduate in, the few months after graduating from college/uni almost always suck. It's the time when reality kicks in and you need to go out on your own and find something to do (i.e. find a job related to your field/find a job you like). This can come easy or it can be really difficult. Personally, it was a big struggle but now the hard work is paying off. Best of luck to you.
unclereich 04.29.19	im going into law enforcement which has little to do with my degree. getting that degree was my dream though and i am happy to say i kicked ass in college.
garas 04.29.19	A bachelor's degree in philosophy sounds pretty cool - does it make you a philosopher? And don't say that you're already regretting it, just be proud! I can somehow relate about plans - I'm doin' my master degree in biology and I have no concrete plan about what comes later. But, hey staying postive can help a lot everyday! Best of luck to you!

solongatlast 04.29.19	Thanks for the responses. Yeah, philosophy has been fun, but the job prospects... garas, nope, I'm definitely not a philosopher. I know some random facts and have a surface-level familiarity with a few figures you could easily learn about by watching youtube videos, so there's that.
