09.05.18 | I can’t tell if that’s a lot or not enough |

09.05.18 | nice. I still use lastfm almost every day, it's great. |

09.05.18 | I recently hit 20K, I joined in Sept. 2016. I wish lastfm could work retroactive and track all the music I've heard since I was born via a memory chip or smth cause my all time stats are so random. |
Demon of the Fall
09.05.18 | Yes that sounds significant, I'm on just over 32k & although I took a break from last.fm, I have been using it for a number of years.

09.05.18 | Haven’t used this shit in yearsssss. |
insomniac15
09.05.18 | I have the account active since 2007, just to look at the statistics lol.
After such a long time it's cool to see which artists stuck in my playlists. Also, the number of songs played decreased heavily in the past few years as I started working full time. Youtube doesn't help either.
My top 5:
Nine Inch Nails - 7,740
Moby - 6,988
Bad Religion - 6,347
Queens of the Stone Age - 5,752
The Dandy Warhols - 5,327 |
Demon of the Fall
09.05.18 | Crazy high numbers there insomniac, I'm yet to hit 1,000 with any single artist (despite having 32k+). I must spread myself around too much. |
WhereTheSkyEnds
09.05.18 | I use it too, since 2012 I believe. What are your usernames guys? |
insomniac15
09.05.18 | Yeah, I listened to these bands A LOT haha. I still do, especially Nine Inch Nails and Moby. My scrobbles per year dropped from 50 000 at a maximum to 20 000, or even less I think. |
Demon of the Fall
09.05.18 | That's a ton of scrobbles, wow. Once I decided to work out the % of my top artists & the no.1 overall was only at 3%-ish of my total, guessing that's fairly unusual. |
insomniac15
09.05.18 | You're listening to a lot of different stuff then. It's better though than listening to the same 20 artists/bands.
I used to listen to an artist/band until I got tired of it/them, now I'm glad I expanded my horizons. |

09.05.18 | Crazy numbers Insomniac [2] lol |
solongatlast
09.05.18 | Demon, out of curiosity how many artists do you have at 100 plays or more?
I think my listening is really scattered, but also my average is usually only 20-50 songs a day. |
Demon of the Fall
09.05.18 | @solong: 86 artists. My 100th artist is on 89 total scrobbles.
I've just realised most of my listening is concentrated into 3.5 years, didn't realise I stopped using it for so long.
12,255 for this year, smashed the 9,975 of last year already! |
anarchistfish
09.05.18 | it's only tracked my music from about the last 5 years and only consistently since i started using spotify a year or so ago. so it does skew hip hop
56k scrobbles with 21k in 2014 alone (that is skewed by a few factors i.e. discovering hip hop, weed and friendship)
top 130 artists have 100+ scrobbles
