Go to snacks: Nanners, nuts (pistacchios, walnuts, & trail mix in particular --> try to hold back on dried fruits & sugar bombs), mandarins, cold veggies (carrots, cucumbers, celery, broccoli --> hummus).

Delicious recipe: 1 banana, 1/3 avocado, 1 1/2 cup milk, 3/4 cup frozen tropical fruit, 1 cup leafy greens, 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla, chocolate is no good here), 1 Tablespoon chia seeds, extra water if it's too thick
Feel free to add some cucumber or celery if you like
Works best Nutribullet, Vitamix or Blendtec blenders. Ninja and Magic Bullet blow for this.
Other snacks: wheat thins, apples, mixed nuts, beef jerky (if it doesn't dent the wallet much), whole grain granola bars, greek yogurt, banana and peanut butter |

If you have a food processor, it is definitely worth it to make your own hummus. Will end up being far better than anything you buy in the store, and once you get the hang of it you can mess around with flavors |
