Artists/Bands under 100

This is just my shameless way of getting some unknown music to get some recognition. All artists on this list have less than 100 ratings and if you have some you want to put on here then shoot for it. Just make sure the band/artists are on the database.
1Front Line Assembly
Tactical Neural Implant

Industrial/EBM

okay this technically has 100 ratings but you people should still listen to this, it's amazing.
2Circle of Dust
Circle of Dust (Remastered)

Industiral rock/metal

Klayton's early industrial band. Pretty good stuff overall and he's re-releasing the whole discography.
3Haywyre
The Voyage

Glitch-hop/jazz/electronica

Got into this guy when this album was first released. He's been getting more and more exposure lately and I'm glad. This guy is a really talented musician.
4Kill Paris
Galaxies Between Us

Glitch-hop/electronica

Pretty much in the same boat as Haywyre, just more straight forward electronic-based.
5Nigel Stanford
Solar Echoes

Trance/Ambient

Probably one of my all-time favorite albums in recent years. Pretty much every song is gorgeous on here. The video for "Crymatics" is also really cool if you haven't checked it out yet.
6Votum
:KTONIK:

Prog metal/ambient

Polish prog metal band with a really good vocalist. Would really like to see these guys go big, they do have what it takes.
7Breaking Orbit
The Time Traveller

Prog rock/metal

Another Australian prog metal band. I feel like we've been getting a lot of those recently.
8Agent Fresco
Destrier

prog/indie/math rock

This album was one of my favorites of last year. The vocalist is fantastic and the songs are incredibly memorable.
9Dharmata
Dharmata

alt rock/nu metal

A band that's more or less past their prime but this album was enjoyable to say the least. Don't worry, it's not as awful as you would think judging from the genre tags.
10Fight the Fade
Second Horizon

alt rock/post hardcore

A Christian verb-the-noun band that I think will get a chance to go big after a few years, as long as they get a decent record label. They aren't particularly innovative, but they're more passionate than your average Christian band.
11Wintergatan
Wintergatan

folktronica

Just an all out fun and unique group. I've been listening to these guys since that "Marble Machine" video (which you should also check out if you haven't yet) and it's just so enjoyable. I'd love to see these guys live
12Earthside
A Dream In Static

prog/cinematic rock

One of the biggest surprises for me last year. Pretty much every song kicks ass and all the guests vocalists just nail it on here. Not to mention they're from my neck on the woods.
13Mercury Switch
If You Love Me, You'd Take Me to the City

death metal/metalcore

This band has unfortunately since faded away but I remember listen to this constantly when I was younger. The vocalist may not be the easiest to get through but everything else (in this album) is just so good. Plus they have a killer cover of The Shaming Pumpkin's "Tonight, Tonight".
14Ray LaMontagne
Ouroboros

indie folk/indie rock

I'm surprised not more people on here have listened to this guy. I feel like this is something most people on this site might like.
15Anchor & Braille
Felt

indie pop

Stephen Christian's (Anberlin) side project. Again with Anberlin's popularity on this site I would expect more people to jump on this.
16Too Close to Touch
Nerve Endings

post hardcore

They're in the same vain as Hands Like Houses and Sleeping With Sirens, but to be fair they're way better than pretty much everything those other bands have put out.
17Imperative Reaction
Imperative Reaction

industrial rock/electronic

Somewhat similar to NIN but less angry. A lot less angry.
18Delerium
Spheres I

new age/electonic/ambient

Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber's side project that isn't industrial. They have a few good jams and this album in particular is pretty cool.
19Voices from the Fuselage
Odyssey: The Destroyer of Worlds

post rock/prog metal

If you liked TesseracT's "Altered State" then you might like this since it does have Ashe O'Hara as the vocalist.
20Ready Set Fall!
Memento

melodic death metal/metalcore

Sadly this band also split up, which is a real shame because this was a great release.
