I'm Young, So I Help Me Out

Ok, I'm pretty young, probably too young for the ribbing that most users dish out on this site, but I enjoy it on here. My problem is that I really wasn't around, or of the knowledge of a lot of music when it originally came out, so it is harder to get the perspective on it. I'm going to do my best to get to all of the influential albums, and the undoubtedly loved and acclaimed albums. Where do I start?

Symbolic
2Opeth
Blackwater Park
3Athiest
Unquestionable Presence
4 Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
5Agalloch

Bath
7Cryptopsy
None So Vile
8Converge
