Sailing the Seas of Cheese

The only Primus album I really dig from start to finish, this album is super solid.
9 Mr. Bungle
Mr. Bungle

This bounces in and out of the spot for my second favourite Bungle album. A lot easier to deal with than Disco Volante, but not as interesting.
8Darkthrone
Soulside Journey

Darkthrone were a way better death metal band. I've always loved the bass solo in 'Sempiternal Sepulchrality'
7 Frank Zappa
The Best Band You've Never Heard In Your Life

Another live Zappa album, this one is more rock orientated. The cover Stairway to Heaven blows the original out of the water.
6A Tribe Called Quest
The Low End Theory

I love the jazz rap, and these guys were pioneers. Q-Tip is incredible.
5Frank Zappa
Make a Jazz Noise Here

I'm intentionally leaving off the 'You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore' series. This is a sweet live double album though, 2 hours of solid Zappa fusion. The jazz interpretation of Strictly Genteel is amazing.
4Rush
Roll the Bones

The only 90's Rush album I like, this one is really good. Some awesome songs.
3Gang Starr
Step in the Arena

Love the jazz rap. Guru is spot on and Dj Premier is great.
2Kyuss
Wretch

I love Kyuss. This was the album that started the whole desert stoner rock scene (well actually it was Sons of Kyuss but I'm not counting that). Fantastic.
1Pearl Jam
Ten

Pearl Jam never repeated the quality of this album. Unbelievable from start to finish.
