as do the 3rd and the Mortal, and it feels off to flag genre bending as an exclusionary criteria, list the whole one-trick-pony branch of Opeth's discog and a load of Katatonia, and then exclude Wildhoney. that album sums up this theme better than anything |

01.11.22 | Opeth does it best so that's why they're at the top. Genre-bending isn't the exclusive criteria, but the list leans toward that. I just added Wildhoney as yeah it does belong. I'll listen to In the Woods, Green Carnation, and 3rd and the Mortal soon and see where they stack up with the list so far. |
