Overlooked Metalcore

A lot of these are older, but you new fags need to rstand up and recognize.
1Coalesce

When making an old school or a "classics" list, most people forget about this
band.
Bands like Norma Jean owe a lot to bands like Coalesce(and Botch, of course).
Sporadically and properly placed breakdowns, intelligent lyrics, and a pounding
rhythm section add up to a whole lot.
2Martyr AD

Another band that split before reaching their full potential
3Starkweather

One of the earlier metalcore bands that continue to get better with age.
4Rorschach

Another of the earlier bands. Split up after their second full length
"Autopsy."
Some of the members went on to form seminal metalcore act Deadguy.
5Drowningman

They came out around the same time as Poison the Well, who pretty much
overshadowed everybody. One of the more hardcore-influenced metalcore acts.
6Kiss It Goodbye

Rorschach's twin brother. Their sound was suffocating.
7Disembodied

One of the very first metalcore acts.
8Unbroken

After their first sub-par release, Unbroken released their seminal album "Life.
Love.
Regret.", a release the spawned many later acts.
9Strongarm

The band that inspired acts like Shai Hulud.
10Racebannon

One of the more violent bands to ever grace the genre.
