Funny you mention you'd heard that sort of thing before, cause I've never come across anything quite like Malfet, or at least nothing that completely engrosses me in its atmosphere to the same extent. I'll check Nest (I'm assuming FIN?); if it's, similar I should dig it.

I'd be surprised if you don't find some similarities ;) honestly it reminds me of a lot of the neofolk I used to binge all the time, but I think Nest [FIN] especially. their first 2 albums are very good. but the dungeon synth stuff is also quite prevalent in a lot of the black metal I dig too like Summoning and very early Agalloch if you dig Nest let me know and I can definitely give you some more recs. I love atmospheric dark folk (and dungeon synth apparently haha).

parksungjoon 03.20.20	well imma throw it ur way anyway cuz ive loved this thing for almost a decade and it needs more ratings. flares - levitation (2009) 20 odd minute ep of post-rock with a bit of a mathy proggy feel, aka more interesting instrumentation than you would expect but still got that buildup climax feel to the songs
