Atari: 2019 Punk + Emo Jams

Atari 11.04.19	might add some descriptions later if I have time but for now just wanted to get this out there. this year is off the hook for punk music, maybe my favorite of the decade overall for the genre

dmathias52 11.04.19	Well my 2019 list just got longer! Love what I’ve heard from this list. Stuck Out Here especially has been great, “Saint and Sinners Wine” is one of my albums of the year. Looks like I’ll be starting with Russian Girlfriends though.

Americana punk, think Gaslight Anthem Antighost- Animal Panic! My EPoty, power pop, angsty punk Overgrow- The Name We Share. Emo/indie Another great EP, think mid Brand New. Casavettes- Senselessness. Irish post-anything band, think the Knapsack crossed with La Dispute or world is a beautiful place...... Bruce Lee Band- Rental!! Eviction!! It's Jeff Rosenstock produced Ska, so you know is a lot of fun. McCafferty- The House With No Doorbell. A lot of people hate these guys now, but the album's pretty good.

SlothcoreSam 11.30.19	Reside- The Light That You Saw, An Australian Emo/Punk band, that at their heaviest sound like a heavy The Hotelier. Their quieter moments are more generic, like Trophy Eyes.
Atari 12.01.19	madrigal, yeah that glass beach album is pretty awesome. kinda wish it was more like 45 minutes tho lol, just a tad too long imo. still a quality album, cheers for that rec sloth, how dare you call Trophy Eyes generic (unless we're talking about their last album ofc). I'll check it out haha. Really do need to slow down now though.. way too many albums to go through before I finalize my 2019 list
