Dissonant Tech-Death Pick of The Year | Album of The Year Outright - Part of the reason it took me so long to sift through my list this year is that I was trying to find something which maybe didn't eclipse this, but at least gave it a run. Nothing did. Ad Nauseam's sophomore is one of the most tonally adventurous and compositionally ambitious metal albums ever recorded, while maintain direction and listenability throughout its entirety.
