powerviolence is an extreme style of music and like most of those styles will always come off inaccessible, bad, meaningless etc. etc. at first. seeing as it's the only pv album you've heard and seeing as you haven't listened to much hardcore (as far as i can tell) then it's pretty obvious you would think it's 'bad', because you don't understand the genre at all. it's sort of like saying kayo dot is bad when the only thing you've heard is hilary duff |
