Awesome Vocalists

Just a handful all male
1Orgy
Candyass

Jay Gordon - An off-kilter bass-baritone. Even if Orgy tumbled big time with their shitty, nu-metal influenced 3rd album, one thing that never, ever changed was how damn good Jay Gordon was, as a vocalist. He fit the dark, electronica-drenched industrial rock like a glove.
2Crush 40
Thrill of the Feel

Johnny Gioeli - So many years after his Hardline recording back in 1992, and he still has an amazing voice, even after all of his powerful belting and roaring. Incredible.
3Foo Fighters
Wasting Light

3. Dave Grohl - For much of the same reasons as Gioeli. His control and stamina are incredible.
4System of a Down
Mezmerize

Serj Tankian - What would SOAD be like without Serj's voice? His incredibly experimental style and flawless mix of screaming and crooning is a perfect, vocal representation of what SOAD is like: incredibly experimental, a flawless mix of raging metal and light rock.
5Led Zeppelin
Physical Graffiti

Robert Plant - This guy threw all caution to the wind. It wound up f*cking up his voice to high heaven, but on the first two albums especially, he couldn't be beat. There was nobody quite like him at the time. "Going to California" and "Since I've Been Loving You" are amongst the best vocal rock performances ever.
6Boston
Boston

Brad Delp - RIP. This man hit the highest of highs like it was nothing. He harmonized with the rest of the band perfectly, and his singing was so effortless and mind-blowing. It's hard to believe he's gone, or even that he took his own life. Hopefully he found his peace of mind.
7Deep Purple
Purpendicular

Ian Gillan - "Highway Star" and "Gethsemane" are proof enough.
8Marianas Trench
Masterpiece Theater

Josh Ramsay - Marianas Trench? Not very good, although they can produce some good stuff from time to time. Ramsay? Incredible. Such a crisp, bright, versatile voice.
9Soundgarden
Badmotorfinger

Chris Cornell - Obviously.
10Def Leppard
Pyromania

Joe Elliott - Bright, husky high voice with some really good lows, esp. later on in his career. Capable of some truly amazing stuff.
11Queensryche
Rage for Order

Geoff Tate - A PROPHECY WILL MAKE ITS STAAAAAAYYYYYY
12Jamiroquai
Travelling Without Moving

Jay Kay - Incredibly relaxed, confident voice. His work on "Canned Heat" has some flawless mixed voice.
