01.30.12 | Either of the Ilbanez's. I have a fender that works great. |
ZombicidalMan
01.30.12 | Yeah, I don't like Ibanez guitars, but I've always enjoyed their basses. Get one of those |
Trebor.
01.30.12 | Fender jazz bass |
Divine
01.31.12 | Depends on what genre you want to pursue |
Tyler.

Apollo
01.31.12 | Ibanez kinda sucks tbh
I had a Geddy Lee signature Fender Jazz Bass a few years back...sold it to buy my wife's engagement ring. |

01.31.12 | So.. wanna hear some bass player jokes? |
Divine
01.31.12 | YES |
Apollo
01.31.12 | why play bass when you can play anything else
seriously |
Trebor.
01.31.12 | Can't have a drum set because you live in an apartment
like to play jazz or ska and don't want to play rhythm guitar |
BurningApollo
01.31.12 | I personally hate the sound of Ibanez's, but they do work great for metal. Fender (or Squire) Jaguar basses and jazz basses are good. Personally I like Warwicks and Danelectros, but as TheVoiceAndTheSnake said it really depends on what kind of music you're going to play |
eternium
01.31.12 | When you're low on cash an Ibanez is just about the best you can get unless you find a good used Fender. Squires sound like ass and I don't have much faith in Yamaha. |
whywontyoudie
01.31.12 | what eternium said |
Ire
01.31.12 | squire > ibanez at everything
for a low budget you should order a bass from rondomusic |
immortalizepain
01.31.12 | depends on what genre you play. Fender Jazz Bass is awesome, but if you're low on budget just get the Ibanez ATK310. |
eternium
01.31.12 | Ibanezes are incredibly versatile. Squires are incredibly ass. |
Awesomesauce
01.31.12 | Real men play Firebird basses |
Ire
01.31.12 | squires are consistent in quality while ibanez have a tendency of falling apart in my experience
regardless, rondo is better than both for a low budget |
eternium
01.31.12 | I don't know about Rondo's basses but I've wanted an Agile for a few years now. |
