01.11.23 | @Ryus - Hell yeah dude, get on SFU - it's an experience. And yeah, Midnight was my least favorite but I still love it. Before Sunset is definitely my favorite of the 3.
zak - I wish I could play Fromsoftware games but I'm too fucking weak, dude. I own Bloodborne and can barely get anywhere, I also picked up Elden Ring because everyone is jerking off to it but even that is way too much for me. Never heard of your TV show, I'll be sure to check that out! |
zakalwe
01.11.23 | I have to say Elden Ring is ridiculously overrated |
JKing92
01.11.23 | I haven't even played Elden Ring. I think all the unrepentant hype surrounding it kind of alienated me (plus, I was too busy with Halo Infinite during the peak of its acclaim). |
DarkSideOfLucca
01.11.23 | @Jk - Damn, guess I should read The Hunger Games - added to amazon cart. |

01.11.23 | @Lucca. Get stuck back into Bloodbourne mate I guarantee you’ll be a bit better at it and you’ll overcome the initial impossibility of it. It’s an incredible game.

That would not have been possible - that's why I just did mini-series |

01.11.23 | I actually never got into Manga or anime, which is kinda wild because I got into like every single other form of nerd shit (hell, I even collect board games) but I will definitely check that out!
And yeah, tbh the only DT I listen to anymore is Images & Words and Awake. SOMETIMES I will go back to Scenes from a Memory/Six Degrees/Octavarium but tbh it's very rare - and I won't check anything other than those listed albums |

Ryus
01.12.23 | "TV Show: Twin Peaks The Return"
yea |
Clumseee
01.12.23 | Oh man love to see the Before Trilogy love. Midnight might be favourite. Question for the crowd: can you still count Toy Story as a trilogy or does the 4ths existence disqualify it? It's the only trilogy that comes close to me. |
IsisScript80
01.12.23 | "Question for the crowd: can you still count Toy Story as a trilogy or does the 4ths existence disqualify it?"
Naturally does, however, it then goes to head-canon.
I've never got around to seeing the fourth one (partially through burnout and fear of diminishing returns). In truth though, it was miraculous that any decent sequels followed the first to begin with, as Pixar never planned anything subsequent till their hand was forced by their Disney overlords. |
DarkSideOfLucca
01.12.23 | Yeah I don't know what the actual rules are for trilogies tbh, but I will always view Toy Story as a trilogy. Same with Bourne and some others that technically have other entries.
@IsisScript - m/ fuck yeah brother
@Rowan - What's wrong with you, man? Show some fuckin' respect for the dead, will ya?
@combustion - PLEASE let me know what you think of it if you ever finish it my dude
@naught - yo Crossed is fuckkkeedd aha - did you watch The Sadness? And kuddos for Acid Bath and Black Hole, goddamn some good picks

Favorite album: The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Favorite band: Brand New
Favorite TV Show: Bojack Horseman
Favorite Graphic Novel: Watchmen
Favorite video game: Fallout: New Vegas
Favorite movie trilogy of all time: Back to The Future
@OP
I finished Six Feet Under a month or so ago and cried like a baby. That show is a masterpiece. Only thing that made me cry that hard was "The Long Way Down" episode of Bojack Horseman. Another masterpiece show.
Evil Dead 2 is in my top 10 movies. |
artiswar
01.13.23 | Mantle and Jar Of Flies are burned into my ears. Need to jam Biomech again, been on a Townsend kick. Am still not sure if it's a classic or not. Six Feet Under was a great show, I really liked Claire's arc. |
sadguyontheinternet
01.13.23 | Claire's arc was nice but I got pretty tired of her "all I date are bad guys" bullshit. Nate's death was handled incredibly well and very accurately portrays how sudden death happens. One minute Nate was there and the next he was gone. Absolutely genius show. |
artiswar
01.13.23 | spoiler alert bro.
I liked Claire's stuff because the character that is the heart of the show never becomes the petty villain, but that's kind of what they did with her. It was very unique and bittersweet.
My favorite scene in the entire show was a Claire scene, the "maybe you're not an artist" scene with the aunt. Blew my fucking mind as a teen |
sadguyontheinternet
01.13.23 | That scene where Radiohead's "Lucky" plays in the background as they all sit around the fire was probably my favorite. |
artiswar
01.13.23 | also the scene with Nate and his dad in the car where Climbatize by The Prodigy is playing. That was so intense |
sadguyontheinternet
01.13.23 | Yesssssssssssssssssssss |
naughtcturnal
01.13.23 | @Lucca: Fuck yes I saw The Sadness numerous times. Very VERY messed uo and effective horror movie |
DarkSideOfLucca
01.18.23 | Last ten minutes are the best in the show, for sure
@naught- Hell yeah dude, as a fan of Crossed I knew you prob saw it but had to make sure!
|
MarsKid
01.18.23 | Lucca holy shit, I adore Blankets. That book messed me up lol |
DarkSideOfLucca
01.19.23 | @Mars - Yeah man, I actually haven't read it in many years, but it stuck with me more than anything. Might be due for a reread right now, actually |
