DarkSideOfLucca
10.11.12 | Aha this was just a top ten, there are many bands w great discographies that I didn't include, love vader though- their newest is my favorite |
Hawks
10.11.12 | Agree with 1, 3, and 8 for sure. Need more Gorguts, Immolation, Enslaved, Opeth, and Emperor though. |
evilford
10.11.12 | 123 to 1 2 and 3
also, personally I would put Godflesh toward the top.
I know they only had 4 lps so far, but hell put Gorguts up there too
also, Immolation hard |
evilford
10.11.12 | dammit hawks!!!!!! |
ReturnToRock
10.11.12 | The Clash (1 weaker album)
Nirvana (1 weaker album)
Billy Talent (1 weaker album)
KISS (1/2 decent albums and the rest is shit)
System Of A Down
Iron Maiden (even their worst albums are decent)
Cinderella
Soulfly
The Beatles
Others, like Sepultura and Metallica, would have featured here until they sabotaged their careers (after Roots and Load, respectively) |
tommygun
10.11.12 | Elliott Smith |

evilford
10.11.12 | oh yeah ISIS how in the hell could I forget them??? |
InFiction
10.11.12 | Yeah, definitely needs Isis, as well as Cult Of Luna. I'd put Alice In Chains on as well. |

10.11.12 | primordial |
insomniac15
10.11.12 | Pearl Jam albums are often inconsistent (mainly No Code, Binaural and Yield - even though Yield is great, it has some filler too - ). |

Storm In A Teacup
10.11.12 | Hopesfall for sure |
menawati
10.11.12 | consistency aint always a good thing, the most creative musicians experiment and have ups and downs - eg David Bowie |
undertakerpt
10.11.12 | No question really, Gentle Giant's first 8 albums are tops! The final 3 are still o.k but nothing in comparison to their others.
Jellyfish only released 2 albums, but both are fantastic.
Mr Bungles 3 albums are like nothing else that's been made, so I guess that's consistency right? Plus they kick ass! |
Storm In A Teacup
10.11.12 | when I think of consistency I think of every album is at least a 4 |

Titus Andronicus
The Tallest Man on Earth

10.11.12 | @ReturnToRock, it's still good though, so do the math. Good multiplied by three, equals consistent. |
MikeC26
10.11.12 | Camel and Led Zepellin for sure |
ReturnToRock
10.11.12 | Yeah I didn't say it wasn't good. Only 'less good'. Kind of like how 'Revolver' is not as good as every other Beatles album (some would say 'Magical Mystery Tour' or 'Abbey Road') but is still very good nonetheless. |
undertakerpt
10.11.12 | @ReturnToRock, yeah actually you're right, it is less good. What the hell is with all those stupid interludes of people farting and being sick? Kids these days, (grumble grumble), during the war, did you know..... zzzzzzzzz |
undertakerpt
10.11.12 | @MichaelSnoxall, actually, yes you're right. Goddamn this bipolarism/split personality/general fucked up mind of mine. Where's the whiskey? |

DarkSideOfLucca
10.11.12 | Woa like 35 new comments since I took the midterm- I generally agree with most of these such as Isis and opeth would have definitely made this list if it weren't for their past two albums that I personally don't fully enjoy, though the first three songs off watershed are killer. Still that discouraged me from including them unfortunately |
DarkSideOfLucca
10.11.12 | Also litany is a close second for favorite vader album but their newest definitely beats it out IMO- their newest is in my opinion a perfect example of death metal, would probably show it to anyone first getting into the genre and fans alike |
Geadom
10.11.12 | Atheist
Coroner
Symphony X |
DarkSideOfLucca
10.11.12 | Symphony x is another one that would make it if not for their last album :/
I really wanted to put cynic on here but I felt that would be unfair considering how little material they released but damn everything so far is perfect |
