Songs that seem fitting for the month of June. They are pretty
varied, but just a decent amount of things I've been listening to
Perfect end to a mix.
|14||My Morning Jacket|
Jim James and MMJ are the kings of outdoor shows, one of the best
experiences you could ever have.
One of the Best summer cruise songs, will put you in a whole different state
Rootsy country/folk rock done right.
I Can See the Pines are Dancing
A.A.'s voice just kills it in this song.
|10||Scale the Summit|
A Perfect mix of peace and chaos to keep you enthralled.
|9||The Gaslight Anthem|
The Spirit of Jazz
Recently been getting into American Slang more, and this is a perfect
|8||Red City Radio|
50th and Western
Great song to just roll down the windows and pump while driving.
Perfect song for when you wake up and just want to relax.
|6||The Dear Hunter|
Deny it All
The half time part in the middle of the song, absolutely just puts you in a
|5||Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band|
Spirit in the Night
Especially with the passing of Clarence Clemmons, this song has become a
necessity for any summer mix.
|4||Blu & Exile|
The Narrow Path
His smooth voice is reminiscent of Q-Tip, always a great listen.
|3||Band of Horses|
Just a great song to relax to, another good driving song as well.
A Personal favorite, just a fun song.
|1||The Avett Bros.|
The banjo parts and ending jam segment makes this a great, yet soothing
9 is my favorite off that album
5 is tragic...
|Good list. It really doesn't feel like summer yet at all|
|Depends on were you live of course ;)|
|Ahh good point. I'm from NY and the weather is mild for the most part, with some days getting in the upper 80's. It's shitty out today though =/ |
|Would love to go to NY someday... |
Here, after the summer-like April and May, it's back to clouds and rain again. Next week should be better though :)
|ahhh man ya dont say. Where you from? west coast? |
|hahahaha ohh shit, would love to go THERE one day, I was figuring maybe Oregon, since you said it rains a lot. Belgium has like the best food in the world dude. |
|We're really only famous for our food aren't we? It's not too shabby indeed|
|Well, I'm assuming because it's the best. Belgium has beautiful architecture as well, but as far as Europe goes, it's one of the countries I'm least familiar with. |
|Yeah I'm from PA, it has been pretty shitty of late, however it is starting to get that summer feel, slowly but surely it's coming though|
|Most definitely. I'm actually going to Center City in Philly for a friend's party tomorrow. Should be |
|Center City is always guaranteed to be a good time, and yes you are absolutely right, chaos most definitely will ensue|
|word man, I actually went to Trocadero Theater to see Godspeed in March, what a great venue. |
|Yeah the Troc is one of my personal favorites, I like it alot more than the electric factory, plus alot of the shows put on at the troc are of real quality. I heard the Godspeed show was unreal, unfortunately I was too slow to get a ticket. If you ever get a chance to see a show at the first unitarian church, I would advise doing so, its in the basement of a church, and its pretty small, however the atmosphere there is so cool. I saw Brian Falloon do a solo acoustic performance there, it was one of the best shows ive ever seen still to this day.|
|Yea man, might have been the best show I've ever been to. Alright, I'll keep that in mind |
