| Top 5 Video Game Soundtracks IMO

Most of you have probably never even heard of this game series, let alone heard its music. Well, actually scratch that, its music is more popular than the game! Have you been McRoll'd? Then you have heard Touhou music. The score to these games are extremely popular, and for a good reason. Remember when I said Marty O'Donnell was a composing genius? Well, scratch that aswell, because ZUN creates some of the most catchy, complex and unique music I have heard in games, EVER. He definitely has his own style of composing, that's for sure. His soundtracks are pure ear candy, nothing will ever beat Touhou music in my book! | | 2 | Halo Franchise
Another one that was sort of obvious, but for good reasons. Marty O'Donnell is seriously a genius and songwriting and composing. The soundtracks are very diverse, from chill, groovy techno to epic orchestra, Halo music never disappoints. | | 3 | MOTHER/EarthBound Series
Oh my, the MOTHER series (otherwise known as EarthBound in America) has some seriously mindblowing tracks. Not only does it have some of the most unique VGM I have heard, but they are catchy, memorable and well composed. Great stuff. | | 4 | Mario and Zelda
Anyone who knows anything about VGM should have seen those two coming, and I can't really pick between the two, so I just decided to pick them both. Many classics from these two, and whoever is reading this should know them all. | | 5 | CDi Games
Now I know what you may be thinking, "CDi games, what the hell? Aren't they those crappy animated games that look like they were made in MS Paint?" While the games are absolutely terrible (even worse now that they're done in a million and one YTPs) the music is really, REALLY good! Like seriously, the composer deserves a lot of credit! | |
