Relinquished
03.31.13 | oh man first time in a while "delete" is on a list |
Eclecticist
03.31.13 | I am extremely curious as to what information you are relying on for your personal quest because based on my experience it is very doubtful that there is actual validity in whatever you could possibly be reading. |

03.31.13 | Don't worry. The list will rise on the 3rd day. |
savagecabbage
03.31.13 | @ sniper - Yeah, lists about ear infections and Emma Watson are definitely about music reviews you fucking moron.
@ Eclecticist - C.S. Lewis and typing in "factual evidence of the existence of jesus christ" into google, and then doing the same about the resurrection. It's cool because some sites include things from atheists and other religions that have different views. I'm really skeptical but if I find enough information and do more research for the next couple of months I hope to make an informed decision. |
Eclecticist
03.31.13 | Well if you are relying exclusively on what has come up on a few Google searches then yes, I agree with the majority of other commenters, you are being an idiot. |
savagecabbage
03.31.13 | Why man? It's my second day looking. There's some valid information. The quest continues. |
Atari
03.31.13 | lol who cares if he wants to do some research about this stuff. C.S. lewis does make some interesting, throught provoking points my brother really likes him. |

03.31.13 | When you do research for school papers, don't you usually begin on the internet and then narrow down your search? |
sniper
03.31.13 | when i do research papers for school, i always make sure to consult the experts on sputnikmusic.com |
Eclecticist
03.31.13 | Information that comes up on Google searches are not considered reliable. While that is not always the case, more times than not anything that you look up that cannot be immediately cross-referenced is likely false.
News articles are second on the scale of unreliable information. The best way to look up information is to cross-reference sources in which the author(s) have listed where they have obtained all of their information from. Then checking the information to make sure it is more than just sworn testimony or interpretation. |
savagecabbage
03.31.13 | So wait... you're telling me the internet isn't always reliable? Damn, I had no idea.
Good thing I also have access to Ebsco and Academic Search Complete. Man, the possibilities. |
Eclecticist
03.31.13 | "C.S. Lewis and typing in "factual evidence of the existence of jesus christ" into google, and then doing the same about the resurrection. It's cool because some sites include things from atheists and other religions that have different views."
That is how you started off validating your information.
"So wait... you're telling me the internet isn't always reliable? Damn, I had no idea. Good thing I also have access to Ebsco and Academic Search Complete. Man, the possibilities."
Now you say you are using academic databases.
Why are you being inconsistent? It's amusing that you are being sarcastic too since you are not making very much sense to begin with, so it's fair that I would challenge you especially after your first list was deleted. |
