| My New Ambient Guitar Track
So hey, I was up late last night, couldn't sleep... so I threw together a chord progression I've had floating in my head for awhile. I'm mostly testing out new production and all that, but I feel like it turned out really well for the most part.
If you guys could listen to it and let me know what you think, that'd be pretty rad. ;) Link is in comment to avoid the r's. List is my own albums and a dig. | 1 | | Stampede to Timberline You Were my Coldest Season | 2 | | Stampede to Timberline Tribulation | 3 | | Talk Talk Laughing Stock | |

07.03.14 | So here it is. It's pretty ambient material... for the most part:

07.03.14 | For being something thrown together in just 30 minutes at midnight, this is really enjoyable. Very cool. I like the initial theme that sort of bookends the track. | XingKing
07.03.14 | This is pretty cool. Nice and relaxing | insanedrexl1
07.03.14 | Sounds great. Very soothing. | North0House2
07.03.14 | Awesome, thanks guys. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was going to go to bed last night, but I had some stuff floating around in my head that I wanted to record before I lost it during my sleep. | bnelso55
07.03.14 | North0House2 -- I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I can't fall asleep until I record the melodies and song ideas I have in my head. Even if I don't complete a song that night, I need to record enough of it so that I don't have to worry about forgetting something. | North0House2
07.03.14 | Yeah man, that's exactly what was going on. I had a real nice chord progression that I had floating around in my mind and I wanted to get it down somewhere so I didn't forget it by the time I had woken up. Now that I have this recorded I can listen to it and replicate it so I can expound upon it later. Haha. | bnelso55
07.04.14 | Haha I know what you mean. I've been in that same place. You should repost this track if you decide to build it. It would be cool to hear where it takes you. | North0House2
07.04.14 | Awesome, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, lol.
Oh I totally will. I'm working on new material currently... so I'll likely build on it some more add some sampling in, and maybe percussion/smooth it out a bit. So I'll repost it if I do indeed do that. |
