07.07.11 | well, they can usually close down a lot of their stuff but certainly not all. and generally speaking, if a party of 12 comes in 20 minutes before closing time, the cooks are going to beat the server(s) out easily because a party that large is generally going to stay for a dickishly long while. |

07.07.11 | Have worked at least part time in the restaurant biz for 12 years. This happens alot. Its a total dick move and its absolutely correct that usualy people who lack the common courtesy to understand people are trying to close down absolutely do not tip either. |

07.07.11 | The worst is when youre working delivery, and some drunk asshat calls 1 minute before closing, orders a deep dish pizza (which takes forever to cook), and basically adds an extra hour to your shift for one order which is almost guarenteed not to be a tip. |
