Top 20 Albums Of 2010!
1Circa Survive
Blue Sky Noise

This album couldn't get any better. Combined with Appendage EP that also came out this year, this band really broke through in my music tastes this year. Not only album of the year, but they're definitely a candidate for band of the year.
2For Today
Breaker

OMG. OMG. OMG. I crapped my pants the first time i heard this album. It literally makes me want to create another holocaust only in God's doings. Most talented Christian metal album of this year. By far. And not to mention THE BEST live.
3Jonsi
Go

Jonsi can literally inspire you in this album. His voice sounds like angels in the most different way. The whole album is not only creative, but astronomical in everyway.
4Emarosa
Emarosa

Woahhhhhhhh daddy. Jonny Craig's vocals = best ever on this album since Downtown Battle Mountain with Dance Gavin Dance. 'Nuff said.
5Kanye West
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Ever since i listened to the full album, i knew that it was going to rank high. A lot of people agree with me, since this album not only shows creativity, but evolving rap/hip-hop into a completely original genre. I don't know what you'd call it, but it'd probably be something under the lines of, 'Kanye-Westcore'.
6The Chariot
Long Live

Ever heard of Norma Jean? Imagine that times 10. Then you'll have Long Live. The Chariot really revolutionized their music and made it as legendary as the beloved Norma Jean. Great, great raw album.
7Sleigh Bells
Treats

Most original band probably ever. This album makes me want to sabotage a town and take over Russia with raw materials, all while having a great time. Definitely the party album of 2010.
8 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Beat The Devil's Tattoo

What can i say about this album... i mean come on, it's BRMC! As knowing Baby 81 is still my favorite album from this band, they really came out with this album out of the blue. And it dominated, thus being in the top 10.
9 Secret & Whisper
Teenage Fantasy

Charles Finn = fantastic vocalist. I heard the single, 'Warrior (Southern Arrowwood)', before the album came out, and it blew my mind. Totally original. I forgot about the album releasing, then later picked up the album and listened to the whole thing. Every song has its own unique feel, and definitely stepped up to the plate on being in the top 10.
10Tokyo Police Club
Champ

Coming in at number 10, Tokyo Police Club. There are some GREAT songs on this album. I usually get a lot of the songs from the album stuck in my head. I could've seen more potential, but i still love it all together a lot.
11The Tallest Man On Earth
The Wild Hunt

He really does it again. You knew it was gonna be on this list, cause it's amazing. This album is incredibly good, and I don't know why it's so low on my list since it's probably one of the best albums of 2010. Oh well.
12UnderOath
(Disambiguation)

With the departure of Aaron Gillespie, i thought this album would have no chance of being good, considering they wouldn't have Aaron to do the incredible clean vocals. I was wrong. The drums are pretty good, and Spencer steps up and dominates the clean vocals, surprisingly. It sounds more like Define The Great Line only less 'sloppy'. They're Only Chasing Safety is still the best album, hands down.
13Arcade Fire
The Suburbs

Everyone loves it. I love it. What's not to love?
14 A Plea For Purging
The Marriage Of Heaven & Hell

Easily the best by APFP. I saw them live a while back, and i couldn't understand what was going on. Live = kinda suckish. Recorded = amazing.
15KiD CuDi
Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager

KiD CuDi is great, i don't care what you say. This album should really be higher on the list, but Kanye kinda stepped up to the plate and beat him on this one.
16 Angels & Airwaves
LOVE

AvA has always been one of my favorite bands, and this album is amazing. No where near I:Empire though, which disappointed me. It's still a great album though, and you should listen to it.
17Cloud Cult
Light Chasers

Faaaaaantastic album. Done very well. Don't know why it isn't higher on the list, but still listen to it anyways.
18Girl Talk
All Day

Only one word fits this album. Yes. Gregg Gillis really defines the meaning of 'mashup'. With some great songs all smushed into one, this album is definitely one of the most creative. Favorite off the album = Triple Double, which features the song 1901 by one of my favorite bands, Phoenix.
19The Dead Weather
Sea Of Cowards

When I first discovered The Dead Weather, one name came to mind. Jack White. They sound very similar to The White Stripes. There are some pretty alright songs on this album, overall pretty okay.
20Weezer
Hurley

Oh Weezer. "Memories, make me want to go back there." Great stuff. Only a few songs i actually liked off the album, kinda disappointing. You're better off listening to their old, original stuff.
