theacademy 12.08.11	also i just read all your "descriptions" above. most of them are way off-base 1) angels have been a big market/big spending team. they let k-rod walk but threw a fuckload of cash at that shitty guy from the rockies immediately after. and tex they lost a bidding war to the yankees. also most people can figure out that that tex deal was fucking horrible. 2) maybe. or maybe he's the best player in baseball. 3) i don't think its THAT odd... i also don't think its 100% about spending the money 4) he will also get to play a fuckload of games @TEX and @HOU 5) he might already have done that 2)

But signing him to a 10 year deal could've been disastrous. The Cards are the best run organization in baseball, so I'm not terribly worried about losing him.
