03.20.11 | And even though Good News and We Were Dead are 4th and 5th, they're still amazing albums in my mind. They just can't match up to Modest Mouse's earlier work |
Psychopathologist
03.20.11 | id switch 1&2

03.20.11 | I need to hear 3+4 still. M&A is by far my favourite album by them though that I've heard,
5 is too inconsistant |
iluvtweepop
03.20.11 | i don't like this band
i don't like johnny marr, thats not why i don't like the band but still |
NateT
03.20.11 | @psychopathologist: The decision between those two is so tough for me, but I decided on M&A because I think I liked the lyrics more. LCW is hands down the best road trip album though haha
@thejackal: listen to 3 & 4, both are brilliant |
ohfoxxxycole
03.20.11 | jackal make sure you get all of the EPs and Building Nothing as well |
ilikeforests
03.20.11 | for me its:
1) building nothing
2) LCW
3) m&a
4) everywhere and his nasty parlour tricks
5) long drive
6) good news
and the rest |
NateT
03.20.11 | Everywhere and his nasty parlour tricks and the fruit that ate itself are great EPs, but I'd listen to Building Nothing first after you finish the LPs. It is the same length as them, and even though its a compilation, could be compared to their LPs. |
Psychopathologist
03.20.11 | "LCW is hands down the best road trip album"
so true |
iSkane
03.22.11 | I'd switch 3 and 4, my opinion though. |
NateT
03.23.11 | I could see that, there are more standout songs on Good News, but This Is A Long Drive is a more cohesive album and Dramamine is just an amazing track. |
Rev
03.23.11 | This is right |
ohfoxxxycole
03.23.11 | leave him alone this is right |
