10.31.10 | You would prolly dig a lot of britpop/alt rock bands from the Oasis-not-sucking-ass era called the 90s.
I would check out Joy Division, New Order and the Smiths if I were you. Then progress into Pulp, Blur, Suede and the rest of the early britpop explosion. From there you might like newer artists that are heavily influenced by that sound, like Maximo Park and Paolo Nutini.
That way you get the whole time-line of indie post-hardcore/alternative rock ----> britpop omg what's the story morning glory ----> modern british pop rock like the arctic monkeys etc.
