Music Has The Right... was my first BoC album and I guess that it didn't gel with me well at all. I have been listening to it more while waiting for Tomorrow's Harvest and it improved in my mind.
They're all 4s and up mind, Tomorrow's Harvest is a revelation, Campfire is nostalgic for me (had good times with that album), Geogaddi is just sublime and something completely on another astral plane. MHTRTC is great, just doesn't hit me as hard as the rest. Maybe time will tell on that one. |

07.08.13 | My first experience with BoC was the In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country EP and the only other material out at the time was Twoism and Music Has the Right to Children. I listened to MHtRtC pretty exclusively for a couple of years until Geogaddi came out. The album invokes alot of nostalgia for me, I don't know what I'd think about it if I had been introduced to them later in life.
I just recently came to the conclusion that Campfire Headphase is better than MHtRtC and it took me maybe 5 years to do so. I hope Tomorrow's Harvest will transcend for me and maybe it will, you never know. |
