Say Anything ...Is a Real Boy
Possibly the best pop-punk album ever made. Max Bemis eschews the generic sound, meaning that every song
has so much power. This album is absolutely stunning; loaded with classics such as Woe, I Want to Know Your
Plans and Admit It!!!.
Senses Fail Still Searching
Sleigh Bells Treats
Taylor Swift Speak Now
Proving once and for all that Liz Rose was in fact holding her back, Taylor Swift has made an absolute gem of an album. Although her songs still revolve around love and boys, there are more layers to both the lyrics and the music. Swift is also able to include more variety, with the songs ranging from the lovely pop song "The Story of Us" to the epic "Dear John," no two tracks sound the same. Perhaps the pinnacle of Swift's career and a gem of modern pop music.
The Format Dog Problems
Nate Ruess' best work to date is also one of the best pop albums ever produced. From the whimsical harpsichord on 'Snails' to the downright catchiness of Time Bomb, this album has it all. The songwriting and construction is top-of-the-line: even the extensive bridges have their place on every song that they're used in. This album is witty, fun and downright amazing.
Third Eye Blind Third Eye Blind
I'm pretty sure this is the reason why I listen to music, and I just found out why.
Wu-Tang Clan Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
