Trebor.
05.23.11 | She was against social programs until she got cancer and could'd pay her medical bills. She then completely abandoned
her beliefs and used a fake name to get government benefits and welfare. |
Satellite
05.23.11 | wasn't a joke bro
the worst part about ayn rand is that anyone who reads her shit automatically turns into an insufferable dickhead for the next couple weeks |

05.23.11 | just because you dont agree with her/don't like her doesn't mean you shouldn't read what is a culturally significant book. I don't agree with her beliefs either, so i managed to not be an asshole after reading Atlas Shrugged, although what Satellite said is usually true. |
Alrightmax
05.23.11 | I'm not sure I agree with everything she preaches (actually I sure I don't), but there was just one of those "aww shiiiiiit" moments in the book. |
Devastator
05.23.11 | Read this book because I heard it inspired a lot of Bioshock. Glad I did that. |

05.23.11 | Objectively terrible
Fuck I'm hilarious |

05.23.11 | Several things:
1) Whether you agree with her ideas or not, she is an amazing writer and her ability to create a gripping story is second-to-none.
2) I don't agree with her message in The Fountainhead. It's kind of on the fascist side.
3) I do agree with her message in Atlas Shrugged. In fact, how could anyone not? Living in a meritocracy as opposed to a socialist, government-run regime is pretty much indisputable. Oh wait, I forgot...fucking liberals. |
whywontyoudie
05.23.11 | Ayn Rand did have some stupid beliefs, but her books are easy to read and the stories are decent. |
MrWonderful
05.28.11 | If you've read Atlas Shrugged and want it to pay off in some way, or if you don't want to have to read it at all, try the parody. Find out what Dragnie Tagbord and John Glatt and the gang are up to ten years later, in the "secret sequel"...

05.28.11 | Atlas Shrugged is a pretty decent book overall, shame some people had to turn it into gospel though. |

02.24.13 | She was a militant atheist lesbian, of course she was an idiot. |
