Deathcore is death metal and hardcore combined, and I'd say The Red Chord are both of those so, yes they are deathcore. Also, it's pretty closed minded to think a band sucks just because they may be deathcore. |

The combination of hardcore and death just doesn't work. Although the two genres have some similarities they're almost opposites in many ways. I'm not sure if being deathcore is what makes the Red Chord good but if anyone does it right its them. They make some fantastic records. |
