Chevelle Bonus Songs Ranked
A ranking of bonus songs from the rock band that consistently makes the best bonus tracks of any band in it's genre. |
12 | | Chevelle Wonder What's Next
Black Boys on Mopeds: Maybe the only bonus song on here I don't really like, the rest are gems. |
11 | | Chevelle Sci-Fi Crimes
The Gist: Great instrumental, but I like these guys for vocals too so it gets a lower spot, still a bumpin track. |
10 | | Chevelle Wonder What's Next
Until You're Reformed: Weirdly enough, this is the song that got me into these guys way back when I was a young teen. It grew on me and compelled me to go hear their other stuff. |
9 | | Chevelle Wonder What's Next
(High) Visibility: Another song that doesn't help their cause in trying to put down the remarks that they sound like Tool. This is one of their more Tool-sounding songs. |
8 | | Chevelle Hats Off to the Bull
Glimpse of the Con: I'd be interested to see if their future releases sound a bit more like this. These more subtle tracks were much more abundant in the recent album. Still not as good as the other bonus song from Hats Off to the Bull. |
7 | | Chevelle Sci-Fi Crimes
Leto's Headache: Wish they would've put this on the main album. It could've done without "Highland's Apparition". |
6 | | Chevelle Wonder What's Next
It's No Good: Such a groovy and catchy cover for the original Depeche Mode song. Love the scream that ends off the song. |
5 | | Chevelle Vena Sera
Sleep Walking Elite: So happy they played this at their 10-year anniversary concert, really neat to watch them play it live. |
4 | | Chevelle Stray Arrows - A Collection of Favorites
Fizgig: You have no idea how happy I was to hear this song just as 2012 was closing down. I hadn't heard anything from them all year and then they churn out this track that's better than almost all of Hats Off to the Bull. |
3 | | Chevelle Hats Off to the Bull
Indifference: My second favorite acoustic track from them (second to "Prima Donna" which was on the main album). Such a beautiful song with wonderful harmonies. |
2 | | Chevelle Vena Sera
Delivery: This is a cover of a Compulsion song, and you know what? It kicks the shit of the original. |
1 | | Chevelle Vena Sera
In Debt to the Earth: So as you may have noticed, the "Vena Sera" bonus tracks are ranked pretty highly on this. I think that might be one of the main reasons I think it's their best album. This is my pick for their best bonus song. It builds up to a mighty finish and perfectly balances the harder side of the band with their softer, more eerie undertones. Truly amazing. |
